I have been playing around with the new vCenter 5.5 server and at some point, after adding several hosts to a vCenter distributed switch i have tried to remove them one by one. But every time i get that the resource is in use. The VMs have been migrated. My guess is that the management network is the one causing the issue. But the way i see it it is not possible to delete the virtual distributed switch or disable it. How could i actually remove a host from a virtual DS or how could i return a NIC back to the host in this case?
